The Colors of Oaxaca

The City of Oaxaca is an intriguing mix of Mexico's indigenous people, colonial Spain, and modern Mexico.   There is nothing gray about the State of Oaxaca; this is a place of vibrant color.  Our base in Oaxaca was the Oaxaca Ollin, just a short walk from the historic center of Ciudad Oaxaca.  The images are both from the city of Oaxaca and the surrounding villages.  All of the images on this page are here to be enjoyed but may not be reproduced without written permission.
